Guilsfield Football Club is a football team, founded in 1957 in Guilsfield, near Welshpool, Wales. Guilsfield play in the Cymru North, which is in the second level of the Welsh football league system.

History

A team was founded in Guilsfield by a Mr A.C. Perkins in October 1879.

Guilsfield Fotballklubb er et walisisk fotball lag basert i Guilsfield, Powys. Klubben ble grunnlagt i 1887, og ble medlem av Mid-Wales League i 1968. De ble walisiske cupmestere for første gang i 2008, etter å ha slått Bangor City 2-0 i finalen. Guilsfield har også vunnet Welsh League Cup to ganger, i 2001 og 2009.

Klubben spiller sine hjemmekamper på Cegid Park i Guilsfield. Banen har en kapasitet på 2 500, og ble åpnet i 2002. Guilsfields nåværende manager er Bryan Jones, som har hatt rollen siden september 2019.

Klubbens mest kjente spillere inkluderer Ian Rush, som scoret 25 mål for Wales, og Dean Saunders, som scoret 22 mål for Wales.
