San Francisco State University's basketballag er et NCAA Division I-lag som representerer universitetet i Western Athletic Conference (WAC). Laget er også kjent som "Gators" og spiller hjemmekampene sine i The Swamp på campus.

Historien til basketball på San Francisco State kan spores tilbake til 1930, da universitetet først stilte et lag. Laget ble medlem av NCAA i 1960 og har konkurrert i Division I siden den gang. Gjennom hele historien har Gators vunnet over 1000 kamper og har vunnet flere konferansemesterskap.
