Wikipedia - San Sebastian Stags

The San Sebastian Golden Stags (also known as SSC-R Stags) are the National Collegiate Athletic Association (Philippines) basketball team of the San Sebastian College – Recoletos. Their 5 consecutive NCAA seniors basketball championships was the longest streak in the NCAA.

The other senior varsity teams may also be referred to as the Stags. The juniors team are the San Sebastian Staglets, while the women's team are the San Sebastian Lady Stags.

SSC-R Stags er det offisielle basketballaget til San Sebastian College – Recoletos. Laget ble grunnlagt i 1946, og er kjent for å være en av de mest suksessrike lagene i Philippine collegiate basketball. Stags har vunnet 20 titler i National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), noe som gjør dem til det tredje mest suksessrike laget i ligaen.

Lagets nåværende hovedtrener er Egay Macaraya. Lagets kaptein er Lawrence Banzon.

Stags spiller sine hjemmekamper i San Sebastian Gym i Manila.
