Hoogstraten VV

Hoogstraten VV (Dutch: Hoogstraten Voetbalvereniging) is a Belgian football club from Hoogstraten, Antwerp. It was founded in 1936 and has red and white team colors. The club currently play in Belgian National Division 1, the third tier of Belgian football.

In 1964 Hoogstraten was promoted from the provincial leagues for the first time into the Belgian Promotion, followed by another promotion into the Belgian Third Division in 1986. The team stayed at the third level until 2002 when they dropped again to the fourth level. After promotions in 2008 and 2013, the team played at the highest level in its existence, the Belgian Second Division, from the 2013–14 season.

Hoogstraten VV er en belgisk fotballklubb fra byen Hoogstraten i provinsen Antwerpen. De spiller i den fjerde divisjonen, Promotion B.

Klubben ble grunnlagt i 1930 og har hatt en hovedsakelig lokal historie, og har aldri spilt i toppdivisjonen i belgisk fotball. De har imidlertid vunnet noen æresdivisjoner på lavere nivå, inkludert Antwerpen-provinsdivisjon i 1968 og 2011.

Hoogstraten VV er mest kjent for sine kamper i den belgiske cupen, hvor de har nådd åttendedelsfinalen tre ganger, i 1964, 1965 og 2022. I 2022 var de det første laget fra den fjerde divisjonen som nådde så langt i turneringen.

Laget spiller hjemmekampene sine på Sportpark De Vrijheid, som har en kapasitet på 5.000 tilskuere. Hjemmedraktene deres er gule og blå, mens bortedraktene er hvite og blå.
