Seoul Samsung Thunders (Korean: 서울 삼성 썬더스) is a professional basketball team, competing in the Korean Basketball League. Ever since the club was founded in 1978, they have been associated with Samsung Electronics. Initially based in Suwon, they relocated to Seoul in 2001, and had played their home games at Jamsil Arena ever since.
Seoul Samsung Thunders er et sørkoreansk profesjonelt basketball-lag basert i Seoul. Laget er en del av Korean Basketball League (KBL) og ble grunnlagt i 1976. Hjemmebanen deres er Jamsil Olympic Stadium.
Thunders har vunnet 12 KBL-mesterskap, noe som er nest flest i ligahistorien. De har også vunnet 10 koreanske cupmesterskap.
Lagets nåværende trener er Cho Sung-won. Noen av lagets mest kjente spillere er Heo Ung, Hur Jae, Lee Seung-joon og Ricardo Ratliffe.
Thunders er et av de mest populære basketballlagene i Sør-Korea og har en stor fanskare. Lagets hjemmekamper spilles ofte for fulle hus.
