Wikipedia - Campeonato Brasileiro Série B

The Campeonato Brasileiro Série B (commonly referred to as the Brasileirão Série B (Série B), and until 2023 officially called Brasileirão Série Betano by sponsorship reasons) is the second tier of the Brazilian football league system. Although not having been played annually since its founding in 1971, the competition format has changed almost every season. Since 2006 it has been contested by 20 teams in a double round-robin format with the top four teams being promoted to the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A group and the bottom four teams being relegated to the Campeonato Brasileiro Série C group.

Brasil - Série B

Brasil - Série B er den nest øverste nivået i det brasilianske ligasystemet for fotball. Ligaen ble grunnlagt i 1971 og har siden den gang blitt spilt med 20 lag. Sesongen varer fra april til november. De fire beste lagene rykker opp til Série A, mens de fire nederste lagene rykker ned til Série C.

Ligaen er kjent for sin høye kvalitet på fotball og har produsert mange av Brasils beste spillere.
