The Israeli Liga Leumit (Hebrew: הליגה הלאומית, HaLiga HaLeumit, lit. 'National League') is the second division of the professional Israeli association football (soccer) league system. This 2ⁿᵈ tier league is placed right below the Israeli Premier League.

History

Liga Leumit came into existence at the start of the 1955–56 season, replacing Liga Alef as the top division in Israeli football. However, it was usurped as the top flight in the 1999–2000 season, when it was replaced by the Premier League. Since then it has operated as the second tier in the Israeli football league system.

Israel – Leumit Liga – Spillerom

Leumit Liga er en profesjonell fotball liga i Israel. Ligaen ble grunnlagt i 1951 og er det nest øverste nivået i det israelske ligasystemet. Ligaen består av 16 lag, som spiller en dobbel serie med hjemmekamper og bortekamper. De øverste to lagene rykker opp til Ligat ha'Al, mens de to nederste lagene rykker ned til Liga Alef.

Spillerommet er et sluttspill som spilles mellom lagene som ender på plassene 3 til 6 i Leumit Liga. Vinneren av spillerommet rykker opp til Ligat ha'Al, mens taperen blir værende i Leumit Liga. Spillerommet spilles over to kamper, med det første laget som spiller på hjemmebane. Laget med flest mål over de to kampene rykker opp.

I 2023-sesongen vil spillerommet spilles mellom følgende lag:

* Hapoel Afula
* Hapoel Nof HaGalil
* Hapoel Ramat Gan
